How I work as a counsellor
As a therapist, I mainly draw upon humanistic, CBT and psychodynamic theoretical approaches to meet your individual needs. In addition, at times I incorporate creative imagery work within sessions to help clients feel more comfortable in expressing their inner thoughts and feelings as I recognise that finding 'the words' is not always easy.
I offer weekly individual therapy to adults on a short term (6-12 sessions), long term (12+ sessions) or open ended basis. This includes traditional face to face counselling in London Bridge and Camberwell (South London) and online therapy sessions.
How do we get started?
We will have an initial one-on-one assessment appointment to get an understanding of what has brought you to therapy. Following this, we can discuss further regular counselling sessions (if needed), which typically takes place at the same time each week for 50 minutes.
